Facilities
In addition to the Sections for sporting and recreation activities, Ibadan Recreation Club is equipped with many other facilities for social and relaxation activities of members, their families and friends. Engr. Seyi Makinde Exclusive Lounge The newly refurbished lounge is an exquisite sitting area for members, their families and friends’ relaxation. It provides a cozy ambiance where members can entertain. It stocks many brands of exotic drinks i.e. champagne, spirit and wine.
The initial refurbishment which was done in 2018/2019 was majorly financed by Engr. Seyi Makinde who is the current Executive Governor of Oyo State. However, the most recent renovation to further upgrade the standard of the Lounge was done by the 2022/2023 Executive Council of the Club. Asiwaju Yinka Fasuyi Garden Previously called Family Garden, the garden is the hub of social activities. It is home to all sports enthusiasts from all Sections of the Club where they normally converge to socialize. Members from all Sections converge here to interact, and for many of the Club-wide gatherings/activities. Whenever there is clement weather, the Club hosts its parties and other events in the garden.
The garden has a bar and grill where members can order assorted drinks and varieties of grilled food. Children Garden/Playground Adjoining the Asiwaju Yinka Fasuyi Garden is the children's playground where the children of members can play and interact with their peers. It plays host to children of members on such occasions as the yearly Children’s Days, Easter holidays, Eid holidays, Christmas day, Boxing Day, New Year's Day, etc. Some of such activities/gatherings are sponsored by the Club, corporate bodies and individuals
